The successful applicant will be responsible for :
Manages and interprets customer requirements into Product Innovation - listening to customers and using astute questioning to understand, anticipate, and exceed their needs.
Consults the customer for all technical issues including solving their technical problems.
Performing technical/Product Innovation presentations with food trend update and demonstrating how a product can meet customer needs.
Travels to visit potential customers initially with a sales team member.
Coordinates Product Innovation and/or sales projects with R&D, Production and Quality.
Provides pre-sales technical assistance, product education, Market Trend/Product Launch Update.
Persuades customers that a product or service will best satisfy their needs in terms of quality, price, and delivery.
Establishes new and maintains existing long-term rapport with customers.
Provides support materials for other members of the sales & marketing team.
Records and maintains Product Innovation Database and customer contact data.
Under direction of PI Manager, Administers selected customer accounts and prepares monthly plan and sales calling reports.
Liaises with other members of the sales & marketing team and other technical experts.
