Major responsibilities are as follows:
1.Conduct production line checks and assist employees with developing overall quality awareness
2.Conduct sampling and testing activities for work-in-process finished goods (Wet sauce) and external laboratory coordination
3.Test products for compliance with established quality standards and specifications
4.Document test results and distribute reports to the appropriate departments in a timely manner
5.Immediately notify manager of non-conforming goods and potential food safety issues
6.Maintain accurate and concise records and logs for all projects and results
7.Assist in training less experienced co-workers
8.Cross-train in other quality positions and serve as a back-up for the finished goods testing
9.Perform all duties and functions in compliance with established quality Standard Operating Procedures
10.Maintain high quality standards and support Safe Quality Foods systems
11.Comply with GMP’s, safety rules, good laboratory practices, good housekeeping procedures, and company rules of conduct
12.Perform special projects and other duties as assigned
